  • Owing to its modular designs, this air strut performance is designed to ensure improved performance, safety, and comfort for you.
  • Each air strut unit is fully assembled and ready for installation.
  • This product also comes with a warranty.

Vigor recommends that the air suspension system as a whole is checked for signs of leakages after this high-performance air strut is installed. This means you must check the solenoid, air hoses, and other parts of the air suspension.

Leakages left unchecked are the most common reason for air suspension failure in all vehicles. Whenever you spot a leak, replace the affected part immediately to ensure optimum air spring performance.

Why Use Air Suspension?

  • Air suspension can adapt your vehicle to the poorest of roads. Hence, improve the ride quality,
  • Air suspension allows the car to drive at the perfect ride height since it considers the load on the vehicle as well as the speed of the car.
  • Air suspension is cheaper in the long run. Since they last longer than other types of suspension systems, the premium paid for its purchase would translate to a longer lifespan.

What's Air Strut?

Air struts are part of the air suspension system, it is essentially an air below integrated with a shock absorber. The air strut suspension is designed to ensure ride comfortability for passengers. Also helps the vehicle to achieve self-leveling in the case where it's saddled with loads.

What’s The Advantage Of Air Vs Coil Spring/Shock?

  • Air spring ranks higher than coil spring in terms of comfortability for passengers during driving.
  • Air spring has a longer useful life compared to coil spring, this is due to less vibration, noise, and reduced wear and tear unlike the case in coil springs.
  • Coil springs have the tendency to bounce over the road surfaces, especially when the vehicle is empty. This is not the case in air springs, where height sensors are used for determining appropriate riding height.
  • Air springs make use of air in achieving a self-leveling status. This reduces the risks of wear and tear.

Works perfect

Easy install bolted right up and plugged in. Recommend getting air line kit to make even easier install but happy with product.

2012 Chevy Avalanche Smooth but firm ride

I was a little worried about buying Vigor air ride shocks. I drive a 2012 Chevy Avalanche LTZ 4x4 and pull a fully loaded 20+ foot bass boat all over this country. The original socks went from beginning to get squishy to riding like a lumber truck. I found several reviews of Vigor air rides on the internet and couldn’t believe that a shock that was about 1/3 the price would live up to this hype. I had them installed at Crain Chevrolet in Little Rock and had to immediately drive home hook up to my boat and head to a tournament. The 32 mile drive home felt like I was driving a new truck, but the real test was when I hooked up to the boat! The drive from Conway Arkansas to Table Rock Missouri is mostly hilly and back roads. These shocks aired up once to the weight load and gave me a better ride than I’ve ever gotten in this vehicle! If you own an air ride or magnaride shocked vehicle and dread paying 1000 dollars for a new set of shocks, give Vigor a try and you will be amazed.

Thrilled you gave Vigor a try! Smooth ride with loaded boat, better than expected! Save big and be amazed! Happy driving! ️
